About Laskey

Scott Laskey was a legendary mouthpiece maker! Unfortunately, he passed away in 2018 and his designs and mouthpieces haven’t been available for some time. The Laskey Company was acquired in 2019 by Backun Musical Services, which is part of the Eastman Music Company. Backun relaunched Laskey’s successful designs and continues to expand the original Laskey range through extensive research. Together with Joe Alessi they released the Alessi series in 2023.
