Now here's something truly special! A Thein Maxim small bore (0.488") tenor trombone with some nice custom features. The "standard" Thein Maxim features a bronze bell whereas this one has a yellow brass bell. Additionally there is a very cool and unique small counterweight and the tuning slide and the main slide have a very good looking brushed finish.
How does it play? Easy! And I mean really easy! It has a nice big dark sound, but the small bore makes it bark if you really want it to. A very fun instrument to play and I can see it fit in every big band section or as a jazz soloist.
Condition is excellent. There are some light signs of use on the gooseneck and on the slide brace. But other than that I'd say it's pretty spotless.
