Butler Trombones’ cup/straight mutes are crafted from a blend of carbon fiber and 3D printed carbon fiber/nylon, providing both durability and versatility. The mute is infinitely adjustable, with the ability to move the cup and corks up or down using the velcro strips, while the cup can be removed for use as a straight mute. The mute performs exceptionally well across all registers, thanks in part to the cup’s flexible 3D printed carbon fiber/nylon construction, which makes it resistant to dents.
